Hartelijk dank aan al die mensen die zich inzetten om deze site 'up to date' te houden.
In de vaderlijke lijn mis ik veel informatie, omdat zowel mijn vader (Johannes Verkuijl) als mijn opa (Johannes Hendrikus Verkuijl) op jonge leeftijd zijn overleden. Zowel ikzelf als mijn vader waren 5 jaar toen zij hun vader verloren door een plotselinge dood. Daardoor mis ik 'verhalen' en karaktertrekken. Ik hoop dat mensen die mij kunnen voeden met mooie verhalen of ontmoetingen,contact met mij op zou willen nemen.

First of all i would like to thank the Administrators and volunteers of this website for their continues hard work that have achieved a great website about The Fam Verkuil/uijl/uyl Genealogie.
I think it would be a great help/idea to have this Website post a Facebook link on this page, to direct visitors on this website to the "Whats a verkuyl" on Facebook where all the verkuil/uijl/uyl to ex-change information and to chat with family members on the where bouts of family members around the globe to help this website aswell.

There is something mysterious, learning about those who have come before you...Who were they? What did they look like? Their interests, trades and talents? The incredible understanding of knowing we are all "cut from the same cloth" in one way or another. The Verkuyl (Verkuil) blood line is strong and continues through each new generation...That's pretty fascinating!!

My Opa's name was Cornelius Verkuil and married Cornelia Verkuil(unsure of her maiden name) they moved to the US in the early 1950's with my Mom and Aunt. I think Opa was born in Naarden. I am extremely proud of my rich heritage
